Say: "I seek refuge with (Allâh) the Lord of mankind,1
Tafsir Al-Muyassar: قل -أيها الرسول-: أعوذ وأعتصم برب الناس، القادر وحده على ردِّ شر الوسواس.
114:2
مَلِكِ ٱلنَّاسِ
Maliki annas
"The King of mankind -1
Tafsir Al-Muyassar: ملك الناس المتصرف في كل شؤونهم، الغنيِّ عنهم.
114:3
إِلَـٰهِ ٱلنَّاسِ
Ilahi annas
"The Ilâh (God) of mankind,
Tafsir Al-Muyassar: إله الناس الذي لا معبود بحق سواه.
114:4
مِن شَرِّ ٱلْوَسْوَاسِ ٱلْخَنَّاسِ
Min sharri alwaswasi alkhannas
"From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one’s heart after one remembers Allâh).1
Tafsir Al-Muyassar: من أذى الشيطان الذي يوسوس عند الغفلة، ويختفي عند ذكر الله.
114:5
ٱلَّذِى يُوَسْوِسُ فِى صُدُورِ ٱلنَّاسِ
Allathee yuwaswisu fee sudoori annas
"Who whispers in the breasts of mankind.
Tafsir Al-Muyassar: الذي يبثُّ الشر والشكوك في صدور الناس.
